Only 29 days till our flight leaves for our first stop in Santiago and then on to LIMA for first night in Peru. Vaccinations all done,leaving the wallet $520 thinner!, Insurance paid up, bought some USD before it fell even lower so now it's down to packing.. The advice given is to make sure to layer your outfits so to be prepared for all weather conditions. We''ve challenged ourselves a little as we decided to take carry ons only so we needed to pack smart. I found the packing cubes terrific & should save a lot of rummaging through everything for what you want. Not taking a video camera.Just my Lumix Panasonic that's easy to use & takes terrific quality shots. In the next couple of weeks we will be getting all our documents/tickets etc.
